Welcome Woodworkers!!
Welcome to the Guild of Maine Woodworkers. The guild is a non-profit organization open to all woodworkers (18 years and older). Our membership includes residents of Maine, as well as a few members from other states. From hobbyists to professionals; from beginners to those simply thinking about woodworking as a hobby, we invite you to join. Our members share a deep appreciation for woodworking and love to meet others with the same penchant for making things.
Meetings are held on Saturdays in February, April, June, October and December. They include demonstrations, tool discussions, guest speakers, and the popular “show and tell,” where members show off their woodworking projects. Our annual September picnic is always a fun gathering and an opportunity to further friendships.
Our special interest groups allow members to explore specific crafts, techniques, or materials. These groups plan their own meetings and other activities. See our Calendar for the location of the next meeting.
